If a submission fails you might not even find out until several weeks down the road as some submissions take several weeks just to be processed. In other words, you’ll have to re-submit and wait another few weeks just to find out if it worked the second time! This promotional down-time could cost you a lot of business, and a lot of money. We know how to do it right the first time!
5: EACH SUBMISSION DONE INDIVIDUALLY
Each submission that we do is individually done by hand. Why? After creating our first Web page we, like everyone else, wanted to tell the world about it. We tried using one well-known on-line utility that attempts to submit the same listing to numerous directories at the same time. Although we appreciated the service, we found that our submission never made it to many of the intended sites, or that our listing was not positioned in a visible location or in the best category, or that text was missing, etc. This is due to the fact that each site has a different submission form with different submission parameters, different categories, different listing methods, and different searching methods. Therefore, it is virtually impractical to generically submit the same information to many sites at the same time. By the time we realized this, a couple of weeks of anxious waiting had passed and valuable time had been wasted. We ended up having to re-submit our site one at a time and/or make numerous attempts to correct improper listings.
How quickly can you do it?
We’ll start immediately. Submissions are usually completed within 5 working days (Monday to Friday) of receiving your confirmation.
When will my listings appear?
Some sites post additions immediately, others may take up to several weeks to process submissions.
How will I know that the submissions were done?
Within days of completion we will provide you with a report detailing exactly where your listing was submitted. If you want to, you can easily go to the sites and check for yourself. Although we can not guarantee that all sites will accept your listing (content may not be appropriate) we do guarantee that your listing will be submitted to 50 or 100 sites. Also, we have carefully selected sites that are likely to accept all submissions.
What if I’m not happy with a listing?
Listings can be updated. However, you will supply your own description, page title, URL, E-mail address, etc. Of course, we will make suggestions for your description if you wish.
