Hi, am 24yrs old and I have completed a teacher’s training college in Ghana with Diploma in Basic Education. Am awaiting my results and serving as a professional teacher in the Junior High School in Ghana. I also studied child psychology. I can teach English language in the primary or Junior High School level. Please is there any country that can offer me any teaching job on English language or child training. I can also teach Basic mathematics, Basic Science, Information and Communication technology and technical skills and drawing as well as agricultural science. I am a good typist too and can do some basic data entry work. I wish to work as a volunteer in any country provided I would be financed in my visa and ticket affairs as well as accommodated, fed and well payed.please let me know if I have any chance of working in any country because i am desperate to be in that country and start work as early as possible. Thank you.

Is living conditions expensive in Australia?

I am an Australian. I have a degree in TESOL plus CELTA and also 10 years of ESL overseas experience. Can someone out there tell me what are the living expenses in Melbourne?

What would be the chances of me getting a part-time job with my type of experience and qualifications? It is very important and urgent that I get a quick response to my post because I am leaving for Australia in two more weeks.

I am a newly-certified CELTA teacher looking for work in Mexico. I am interested in coming to this region to teach English, but first need to know if there is anybody out there that has information or have heard of this school called Laughing Coyote Language School. Any info or advice would be most helpful.

How safe a single girl in NY?

I love Manhattan. I’ve been to NYC many a time But only went to manhattan. I love Upper East side and Upper west side. I am planning to move to NYC soon and looking for apartments. I know i can’t afford anything in manhattan though.

so my next best choice is Brooklyn. What is the safest area in Brooklyn for single girls? Is it possible to find a studio apartment in Brooklyn for say ….$ 800 -to $1200 (at the most) a month? Would appreciate some input on this …

I am a female who is 25 and single. I have a certificate in TEFL, a Bachelor’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in ESL and Bilingual Education. I am moving to United Arab Emirates this summer of 2008.

I have heard so many great things about this country. I am eager to relocate to United Arab Emirates as well as teaching ESL, at the Emirates National School. Can any special education teachers give me some insight on their job? “I would gladly appreciate all of your expertise!”.

Looking for employment in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

Where can I get a job in Al Khobar. I have been job hunting forever. Does anyone know of any company’s hiring at this time if so please let me know because right at this moment I am getting very impatient.

I have a TESOL certificate and a Diploma plus a lot of experience teaching English to both adults and children. I am also planning on moving to Saudi Arabia. Any information would be appreciated.

Anyone know what Kuwait labour law states

Hello All,

I’ve been on a contract with a Road Transport company in Kuwait in a high adminitrative position since 2000. The company is in the process of opening a branch office in Baghdad, Iraq, Wants me to head the whole Iraq operations, to which I refused after careful study on the security situation there in Baghdad, However, want to continue working in Kuwait. But, My employer the largest transport compaany in the whole of Gulf insists that I take charge of or call it quit.

I’m not ready to accept their offer of heading to Baghdad at any cost. At the same time, I’m not going to resign. Instead I asked the company to sack me, by doing so I’ll be entitled to full settlement and all provident fund till the end of the contract, which the company has already refused to do. Please some legal expert in Kuwait may help me. I’ve decided to
fight it out in the court.

Any comment from a kuwaiti labour law expert welcome….

Wanted to work in Isreal

Hi,

First of all I have heard that if you don’t speak Hebrew you would not stand a chance on getting any work in Israel. This is very sad because I only speak English.

I was planning on teaching English there until this came about can someone or anyone tell me if this is true if so I would like to know why.
